We use the Dreambox Learning online math program (& app) for both our daughters and I really like how it adapts to the student as they play. We plan to continue using it and I would recommend it to others. Of course, any program, curriculum, or educational tool could work for one child and not for another, so be sure to see if you can get a free or discounted trial before purchasing anything.
Mostly by accident, I have recently come across a few online math programs or games that I hadn't known about before. These are CTC Math, Splash Math, and the Prodigy math game. There is a homeschooler discount for CTC, which you can find on their website, here. I also have a class account set up for Splash Math & for Prodigy, which affords the student members a significant discount, so email me if you're interested or message me on Facebook. However, after two weeks from the date of this post, I probably will not be able to offer the Prodigy discount for another year. My soon-to-be 3rd grade daughter has been having a lot of fun with the Prodigy game and enjoys using Splash math as well (we are using a free trial or version of both). We have not yet tried CTC. Check them out and please let me know what you think of each one! If you know of any other great math programs or games, please comment below to tell us!
