"The International Astronomical Union (IAU) is holding their 29th General Assembly at the Hawaii Convention Center from August 3-14, 2015. We are inviting local students to interact with leading scientists from around the world including: Observatories of Maunakea, NASA, European Space Agency, National Science Foundation, and observatories and research institutions from Germany, Korea, Chile, Australia, China, Japan and more!
Your students will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations and talk with leading scientists and engineers at the forefront of space research.
We encourage school groups, camps, home schoolers, families and budding scientists to attend. Although all are welcome, this event's topics will be best suited for students in middle school and above (Ages 11+).
Make your reservation today and bring your student group to this exciting Astronomy event.
Questions can be directed to Dr. Roy Gal or 808-956-6235 at the University of Hawai'i - Manoa, Institute for Astronomy."
